23 Magazine was launched in 2010 in Vancouver under the name ASSIGNMENT FASHION and at its peak AF had 125,000 monthly readers and had partnerships with the Huffington post and AOL with a lot of our editorials being picked up and published across the US and Europe.

Assignment Fashion was a leading publisher of editorial and creative shoots of Canadian based photographers as well as international photographers and creatives. AF began to branch out to cover other topics in the creative space including:culture, how to and behind the scenes. We began conducting interviews with actors, musicians and others in the creative space as well.

In 2018 Assignment Fashion went off line as we were losing advertisers to social media platforms that were no longer interested in long form articles but rather 15 second video shorts. However times have changed and people are coming back to the long form articles of smaller magazines that keep focused on a smaller number of topics. Therefore, I am relaunching Assignment Fashion as 23 MAGAZINE as a nod to the street I grew up on. I plan on regaining those numbers and would love for all of you to come along on the journey.
